Privacy Policy changes and updates:

SHALX XPRESS LOGISTICS (hereinafter “SHALX,” “we,” “our,” or “us”) retains the right to change or update this privacy statement whenever it's necessary. We will notify you by revising the date on the top of the policy or in some cases we will send you additional notice through notifications. You have the option to terminate your account if you don't agree with the terms of the new Privacy Policy and to communicate any issues, you have our SHALX App customer support staff. The website's Policies and Terms and conditions may also be changed or updated occasionally to meet the requirements and standards. It is also your duty to make sure you are aware of the most updated clauses and conditions of our privacy policy. Modifications will be effective from the day they are posted.

Information you provide us

Account information:

When signing up we requite specific details including your first and last names, birthdate and contact information (phone number, email address).


Profile and vehicle information:

In order to use certain platform services, we may require extra information from you, such as your address, vehicle information, phone number and profile picture.


Identity verification information:

We may ask for and gather identity verification information, such as pictures of your government-issued ID, passport, or other authentication information, in order to comply with applicable laws and establish a more trustworthy environment.


Payment information:

In order to facilitate the processing of payments, we may ask you for specific financial information (such as credit card info, bank account details and swift code details) when you use the Platform to make any payments (like placing an order or booking any of the Services).

All credit/debit card information, including any sensitive data, will not be kept, sold, shared, rented, or borrowed to third parties. No debit or credit card information will be given to any parties by SHALX.


Location:

In order to provide services to our users, location data needs to be collected. We will request your consent to access your location when you download and use our mobile applications. We will gather the precise location of your device if you give our mobile applications permission to access it via the permission systems supported by your mobile operating system. In order to give Carriers jobs that are more likely to be relevant to them and Drivers, we utilize this information to track Shipments and to better understand your regular driving patterns. We may also be able to determine your general location using your phone number or IP address. Additionally, we might get details about your location from other sources, like the Shippers and Carriers in order to successfully complete any Shipment order.


Communication with Our team:

We gather information about your communication and any information you choose to offer when you communicate with SHALX Application team or use the Platform to express preferences, etc.



We gather other data regarding shipment requests and how they are handled when you use the Services, such as the following:

Shipper:

We collect certain information about your submission if you are a Shipper and submit a Shipment request. This data includes the date and time of your request, the origin and destination addresses, a description of the cargo being delivered, the rate, and other information about the Shipment.


Driver:

In order to complete a Shipment request, we may gather information about your journey if you are a driver delivering cargo on behalf of a Carrier. Additionally, as mentioned we also gather information about your location and also the files you upload.


Operator:

If you are an Operator, the data we get from you applies to your bids on Shipment requests as well as your acceptance and fulfilment of any Shipment requests, including information relating your vehicles and drivers.


Information we collect:

We automatically gather personal data about the services you use and how you use them when you use the Platform and the payment services. This information is required in order for us to fulfil our obligations under the terms of the contract we have with you, to comply with legal requirements, and because it is in our legitimate interest to be able to offer and enhance the functionality of the Platform and payment services.


Geo-location Information:

In order to provide you with a better user experience, we may gather information about your precise or rough location when you use specific SHALX Application Platform services, as determined by data like your IP address or the GPS on your mobile device. In the settings menu of the most of mobile devices, you can regulate or turn off the use of location services for applications. If this connection is enabled through your settings or device permissions, SHALX Application may still gather this information even while you are not using the application.


Log data:

We keep a record of log data on how you use the Services, including the type of browser or app version you use, access times, pages viewed, your IP address, and the website you visited before accessing our Services.


Device Information:

We track information on the hardware model, operating system, and version, device and app identifiers, and mobile network details of the computer or mobile device you use to access our Services.

When you use our platform, mobile app, or interact with our online ads or email communications, we engage cookies and other similar technologies. The third party service (such as Google or Facebook) may transmit us information such as your registration, friends list, and profile details from that service if you link, connect, or login to your Account using that third party service. This information varies and is managed by that service, or as permitted by you through that service's privacy settings.

As part of the user screening processes that may occasionally be used, we may receive reports from public records. We may receive the regional version of police or background checks, to the extent permitted by applicable legislation and with your permission if necessary. To get these reports, we might use personal information, including your full name and birthdate.


Referrals:

The person who invited you to SHALX Application or who recommended you to use our Services may provide personal information about you, such as your email address or other contact details.

To the extent authorized by relevant law, we may obtain additional information about you from third party service providers and/or partners and combine it with information we already have about you. This information may include demographic data or information to help detect fraud and safety risks. For our efforts to prevent fraud and analyse risk, we might get fraud warnings from service providers like identity verification services or the results of background checks (with your permission, if needed). Through partnerships, or about your interactions and experiences from our partner ad networks, we may obtain information about you and your activities on and off the Platform.

We utilize the data we gather to perform and enhance our services, which include connecting Shippers and Carriers, Drivers with delivery requests, arranging the transfer of cargo, handling payments, and verifying delivery. We call you and text you about possible and ongoing shipments using your phone number. Information about you may also be used for other purposes


Information we provide to other users of the service:

Depending on how you use our Services, we might let other users of the Services access information about you. In the case of a driver, for instance, we provide the Shippers involved in the Shipment request with your name, vehicle information, exact or approximative location, and specific contact information (such as your phone number). If you are a Shipper, the drivers who will transport your cargo will have access to your name or the name of your business, as well as your instructions, address, and contact information. Other users may have access to certain documents and information that you submit to our Services in conjunction with a Shipment request, such as feedback. If you provide driver ratings and reviews, other users of our Services might see this information.

With suppliers, advisers, and other service providers who require access to such information to perform services on our behalf:

SHALX App takes reasonable precautions to assist guard against loss, theft, exploitation, and unauthorized access, disclosure, modification, and destruction of information about you. SHALX App uses a variety of hardware and software techniques, among other measures, to assure data security and privacy. However, SHALX App is unable to ensure the security of any data shared online. The privacy practices of websites to which SHALX App connects are not under the control of SHALX App. Different guidelines for the collection and use of your personal information may be applicable if you give any information to such third parties.
